Superior Stampede
Hall of Fame

Superior Stampede offensive lineman/fullback Garnet Asmundson, 38, was inducted into the Minor League Hall of Fame on December 6th, 2007 at the Oasis Resort & Casino in Mesquite, Nevada. Asmundson (6-1 335) played 15 seasons after a college career at Mayville State University, in which he was inducted into their Athletic Hall of Fame. During his 15 seasons, Asmundson was an 8-time minor league all-star and 3-time All-American, in addition to winning two MFL Championships. Asmundson also played five seasons of professional football in the PIFL, NIFL, & the IFL, including one season with the Duluth Lumberjacks.
