The undefeated (10-0) Superior Stampede took care of business Saturday by dominating the Eau Claire Crush (9-1) in a 27-14 victory in front of 1,200 fans in Superior! QB Dave White went 8-9 for 95 yards with 2 TD's to lead the way on offense, while Ramon Burroughs led the defense with 8 tackles and a game-changing 82 yard interception return. 26 year-old head coach Matt Krivinchuk capped off his rookie season by bringing the title to Superior. Veteran Shaun Frye was seen clutching the trophy all night and wouldn't put it down! Thanks to Chuck Androsky & Superior Skydivers for flying in the game ball!

The Superior Stampede (8-0) defeated the Central Wisconsin Panthers (1-7) on Saturday, 35-0 to complete an undefeated regular season! The Stampede outgained the Panthers 435-71 in total yardage.

The Superior Stampede traveled to Barron, Wisconsin on Saturday and beat the Northwest Wisconsin Wolverines, 26-18 to move to 7-0 on the season and maintain possession of "The Badger" in " The Battle for the Badger III"! The Stampede were led by:

The Superior Stampede (6-0) traveled to Norway, Michigan on Saturday and defeated the Upper Peninsula Arctic Blast (3-3), 36-22 to clinch a #1 seed and a home conference playoff game on July 26th, 2008!

The Superior Stampede (5-0) traveled to Carson Park in Eau Claire on Saturday and knocked off the Chippewa Valley Predators (3-2), 19-11 in front of a packed stadium. The Stampede outgained the Predators 290-124 in total yardage while the defense forced five Predator turnovers. QB Dave White was 10/20 138 yards 2 TD's and 2 INT's, while completing passes to seven different receivers. The defense was led by the hard hitting of linebackers Tim Manns and Nick Farrell, who combined for 14 tackles and one INT. The Stampede travel to Norway, Michigan this Saturday to face their first non-conference opponent in the Upper Peninsula Arctic Blast (3-2) with a 2:00 p.m. kick-off.

The Superior Stampede defeated the East Metro Phoenix on Saturday, 42-7 at Richard Walton Park in Oakdale, Mn. The Stampede outgained the Phoenix, 461-147 in total yards. The offense was led by QB David White (UW-Crookston), who went 16-22 for 190 yards and 4 TD's.!

The Superior Stampede (3-0) defeated the Northwest Wisconsin Wolverines (0-3), 35-8 Saturday to maintain possession of "The Badger", the wood-carved traveling trophy! The Stampede were led by their defensive pass rush, as they sacked the Wolverine QB ten times! Leading the defense were DE Brad Corry (4 sacks) and DE Marlon Glaspie (3 sacks). The offense, meanwhile, outgained the Wolverines, 361-153 in total offense.

The Superior Stampede (2-0) defeated the Chippewa Valley Predators (1-1) Saturday in the Miller Lite Bowl II! The Stampede were led by the rushing of All-American Kevin Guillory, who rushed for 146 yards, a TD, and a 2-pt. conversion, while rookie Jalon Hopkins returned a punt for 85 yards and a game-changing TD! The Stampede outgained the Predators 277-149, while holding them to 1 yard of offense in the second quarter and 17 yards in the fourth. The defense was led by LB Tim Manns, who recorded 12 tackles. FB Joe Dupree scored the game winner from one yard out with just over two minutes remaining.

The Superior Stampede (1-0) crushed the East Metro Phoenix (0-1), 41-0 in their 2008 NEFL season opener. The Stampede offense amassed 233 yards rushing and 347 yards total while scoring six touchdowns. They were led by 2-time All-American Kevin Guillory with two TD's, while rookie Jalon Hopkins put on a show scoring three electrifying TD's of his own! The defense, meanwhile, held the Phoenix to 21 yards of total offense (-1 passing and 22 rushing), while sacking the QB twice and forcing three turnovers!

The Superior Stampede (9-3) were knocked out of the MFL playoffs Saturday with a 16-0 loss at the hands of the Twin Cities Lumberjacks (9-1). The Lumberjacks scoring came by a 1 yard TD run by RB Keith Williams and an 11 yard TD reception by WR Ben Seiben.

The Superior Stampede (8-2) closed out the 2007 regular season in style on Saturday with a 41-0 shutout over the Minnesota Maulers (3-7) in Superior. The Stampede will now host the first round of the MFL Playoffs on Saturday, September 29th vs the Cedar Valley Vikings, with a 7:05 p.m. kick-off!

Thunderbirds (5-1) 19-0 on Sunday at St. Johns University in Collegeville,
Minnesota. The Stampede committed five turnovers to the Thunderbirds three.

The Superior Stampede (7-1)(5-1) defeated the five-time MFL Champions, Minnesota Maulers (3-5), 28-3 Sunday at Minnetonka High School. The Stampede defense took the game over, sacking the Maulers QB eight times, forcing six turnovers, intercepting four passes, and scoring two TD's.

The Superior Stampede (6-1)(4-1) defeated the previously undefeated Twin Cities Lumberjacks (6-1) 16-14 in a game for the ages. The Lumberjacks had averaged 33 points per game entering the contest. The Stampede showed why their defense is one of the best in minor league football, and 2006 MFL Player of the Year Kevin Guillory showed why he is the team leader. The game came down to a 27 yard field goal attempt by the Lumberjacks, however, it was blocked by Stampede captain and 2-time All-American linebacker Nick Farrell to effectively end the game. The entire Stampede team gets the game ball for this one!

The Superior Stampede (4-1)(2-1) were defeated by the defending MFL Champions, the Midwest Pioneers (3-1)(2-1), 16-6 Saturday in Mounds View, Mn. The Stampede defense sacked QB Nate Harrington four times and intercepted him twice, however the Stampede offense fell short on three red-zone opportunities, including leaving points on the board. After allowing two second quarter TD's, the Stampede defense shutout the Pioneers in the second half and limited them to three first downs. The Stampede will host the Cass County (Lincoln) Renegades of Nebraska this Saturday in a game that will mark the return of Stampede All-American DE Dan Turcotte, Jr. Game time is set for 4:05 p.m. and the game can be heard on The Fan 560 WEBC, and seen on www.ifan.tv.

The Superior Stampede defeated the Winona/Lacrosse Roughriders on Saturday in a 2-0 forfeit, as the Roughriders turned their bus around mid-trip and decided not to show. The MFL Commissioner, Terry Sullivan, immediately suspended them from playing anymore games ever unless they pay the Stampede organization for damages incurred by not playing the game. The Stampede were not notified by any member of the Roughriders until 11:45 for a 4:05 kick-off. The Stampede did get some work in, however, when Duluth-Superior Shoremen owner, George Booth, agreed to contact his players and lend Shoremen uniforms in a controlled "game." The final score was 47-0 Stampede. The Stampede will now get ready for a MFL showdown against the defending league champions, Midwest Pioneers. More info. to come.

The Superior Stampede (3-0)(1-0) started the 2007 MFL season in style on Saturday with a 40-0 thrashing of the Iowa Threshers (1-2)(0-1). The offense was led by QB Seth Larson (10/18 for 205 & 3 TD's w/ 1 INT), while the defense accounted for 11 QB sacks and two safeties.

DT Kevin Szczyrbak 2.5 sacks

The MFL Superior Stampede (2-0) defeated the previously undefeated Northern Wisconsin Thunderhawks (6-1) of the GPFL 36-6 Saturday at Ole Haugsrud Memorial Stadium on the campus of UW-S.

The game was called at halftime, in a game that was dominated by the Stampede. The Predators only score came on a hail mary on the last play of the first half.
